Note: at That Time, Spotsylvania County, Virginia Was the Frontier County and Covered the Current Day Spotsylvania County, Virginia as Well as All Counties to the West Lying Between the North Anna River and the Rappahannock River. Spotsylvania County Was Formed in 1721 out of King and Queen and King William Counties. In 1734, Orange County Took Lands to the West from Spotsylvania County. In 1749, Culpepper County Was Formed out of Orange County. |
