$1,150. Witnesses: none. Recorded 17 August, 1840. Note: This Deed Is a Little Bit Strange in That There Is No Deed to James King or Mary King for this property. Thomas East and his wife Mildred East both sold and mortgaged property to John Brown, father of Mary Brown. This tract was probably a combination of two or more tracts owned by both parties, or it was owned by John King and Mary King with Mildred East joining in the deed for the purpose of correcting a legal title problem to the property. |
