Richard Thurman. 15 Aug 1803. Richard Thurman made his will, proved 21 April, 1806, naming daughters Eddy Bruce, Elizabeth Thurman, Polly Thurman, Rachel Bueer?, Agnes Barnet, Susannah Mullins, Anna Doss, Rhoda Bow, Frances Abston, and Sally Doss, and sons Laban Thurman and William Thurman. His wife was not named. Executors Laban Thurman, Nathaniel Bow and Thomas Farmer. Witnesses: Elishe Barber, Francis Doss and Laban Farmer. Note: A FamilySearch Pedigree Resource File shows that Richard Thurman was born in 1743 in Prince Edward County, Virginia, the son of Richard Thurman and Sarah Farmer; and that he married Ann Brown ca 1762. |
