NOTTOWAY COUNTY, VIRGINIA

BENTLEY FAMILY

Order Book Index Thru Order Book 6

Note: Order Books are generally indexed by plaintiff only. A few defendants were spotted quite by accident; and they have been added to this index. Most Order Book entries are for simple small claims court type actions and deed recording: and give very little information. Most entries have not been checked and abstracted. Some entries are relative to estates. Those have been abstracted. A few cases are chancery cases between family members. Cases that look like they may be chancery cases have been abstracted. Tragically for genealogist, Nottoway Co. has lost its chancery case files and these cannot be reviewed.
