LWT of John Vaughan dated 23 Sep 1764. To his wife Elizabeth then to his five children, one of which being John Vaughan and another being Mary Campbell, wife of John Campbell. John Campbell d. in 1761. His wife Mary d. in 1762 leaving Fanny Jackson and John Campbell her only children. John and Mary Campbell had two children Fanny Jackson, wife of George Jackson, and John Campbell, infant by his next friend John Vaughan. Elizabeth Vaughan d. in 1792 thereby vesting the interest of Mary. Dudley Vaughan, admr. of John Campbell took possession of a slave and refused to turn it over.
