27 pps. This is a series of 13 subpoenas issued from 29 Jan 1817 through 11 Sep 1823 concerning a suit by two [of the heirs of George Sizemore] against four [more of the heirs of George Sizemore]. Some were adults and some were minors. All appear to be out of state parties except Sarah Hudson. There are no details as to the subject of the case although it looks like a typical estate division case. Peter Vaughan was subpoenaed twice in 1817. Later he was dropped. He was likely included solely because he held a Power of Attorney from some of the heirs. See deed records. |
