Note: Some interesting records here, notice William Few sold this slave to John Ramsey Sr and his son John Jr was a witness, John Ramsey Jr died in 1805 in Columbia Co GA. John Ramsey Sr moved to Frederick Co VA as shown by this record that he re recorded in Frederick Co VA. Note: Brothers Joseph, William and John Duckworth moved to Frederick Co VA.

Note: In the deed between Randal Ramsey and William Few in 1755, Randal was the son of John Ramsey Sr. He gave power of Attorney to John Demoss, who was married to his sister Susan Ramsey. John Ramsey, Jr married the widow of William Poteet, his son John Poteet was the stepson of John Ramsey, Jr. John Poteet was a witness to this deed. This is the same Randal Ramsey that deeded his sons Isaac, Samuel and John 300 acres on Dec 25th 1773 in St Paul's Parish Georgia....Wayne Taylor
