Genealogy Facts Is Centered on Finding Provable Sources That Prove Basic Facts or Relationships among Our Ancestors. This Document Veers a Little into Probable, Likely Possible or Speculative. All of these settled, within a five to ten year period, in a tight “nest” on four creeks on the east and southeast side of Metro Greenville, SC. Many relationships among them are provable. Some are not yet proved. Any information positive or negative will help us all. If you or any of your Vaughan relatives are males that are a direct male to male descendant of any of these Vaughan men, please consider being yDNA tested by FTDNA.com.

Abraham’s LWT was very traditional. It has all the appearances that he named his “adult sons” first in birth order; followed by his “adult or married daughters in birth order; followed by three then “dependant” children. Ligon Vaughan is also likely a son. However, he died before Abraham, with no surviving children.

David Vaughan is the “anchor” as he is found in Abraham’s estate papers living in Greenville, SC. The dates of all of the last records of these ancestors in Charlotte County, Virginia dovetail nicely with their arrival in Greenville, SC. This makes the matching records of Lewis and Felix Vaughan Perry Mahany is extremely strong matches due to the relative uncommon names they each have.
