GREENVILLE DISTRICT, SOUTH CAROLINA VAUGHAN FAMILY Deeds Thru DB Z and Land Grant Surveys and Plats |
|||||
Brushy Cr. of Enoree R. The following deeds show: 1.David Vaughan first is located in 1810 when his father in law deeds him 140 acres. He sells the land in 1819, but stays in Greenville Co. He later appears buying land on the headwaters of Peter’s Cr. [We already know for a certainty that David is the son of Abraham Vaughan of Charlotte Co., VA.] 2.A connection among Hannah Vaughan and her son Robert, her daughters Sarah and Elender, as well as John Vaughan and Amos Vaughan. It is also very suggestive that Ethel Holtzclaw is related somehow to this group of Vaughan. |
