Nathaniel Hall Continued from Halifax County, Virginia and Laurens County, South Carolina

19 Oct 1793. Nathaniel Hall's will was dated 19 Oct 1793 and proved 24 Jan 1797. He mentions wife Elizabeth and son Nathaniel. He mentions land in Laurence (Laurens) County deeded by John Falkner, if it is ever obtained, to be divided among his children. He named his brother Fenton Hall and John Hall as executors. Purchasers from his estate were Lent, Benjamin, William, Martin, John Hall, and Nathaniel Hall. Witnesses: Robert Norris, Joseph Erwin and Benjamin Hall. Pendleton District, South Carolina Probate Judge Estate Records 1793-1799, page 104. See Virginia Alexander, Pendleton District and Anderson County, S.C. Wills, Estates, Inventories, Tax Returns and Census Records, page 13. Note: Benjamin Hall witnessed the will. This indicates he was not a son of Nathaniel Hall. Only Nathaniel Hall, Jr. was an adult at the time the will was made. Also note: that the will refers to “brother” in the singular tense. Thus, John Hall is possibly not a brother of Nathaniel Hall and Fenton Hall.
