This group arrived from Virginia in the early 1750's. The early names were Josias, Michael, Henry and Robert. They first lived along Adams Creek, also called Marlowes Creek in the northern part of present day Person County, North Carolina. Later another Henry appeared a little westward to Hogan's Creek and Moon's in the northern part of present day Caswell County, North Carolina.
