Signed: Joseph Vaughn. 25 June 1803: Robert Hays swears he saw the above assignment to Geo. Vaughn by Joseph Vaughn. Test: Jas. Lusk, JP. Signed: Robt. Hays Court Summons dated July 1803.  “Ordered that George Vaughn and George Smith be summoned to appear at next Court and
bring the will of Joseph Vaughn, dec’d, or make satisfactory proof that they have had no such will.

 O.B. I:36, 9 Nov 1836 Power of Attorney from Daniel Vaughn & Patsey his wife to George Fisher produced in Open Court & acknowledged by Daniel & Patsey to be their act & deed. [Note: The original POA not found in county clerk’s look papers for 1836 and there were no loose papers from count session of Nov 1836. Also checked two court sessions before and two sessions after Nov 1836 and nothing found.] 
 O.B. I:13-142, 4 Dec 1837 Ordered that Hector Vaughn & David Ellington be released & Exempt from paying County Levy from this day henceforth.
