[This is an insanely complex deed.] On 12 Dec 1808 Henry Crist made a bond for title to Robert Kennedy to sell 200 acres of land adj. William Welch. On 30 Mar 1818 Robert Kennedy assigned his rights to Washington Carter. On 13 Apr 1823 Washington Carter gave a bond for title for Б to his father Meshack Carter. On 3 Feb 1835, Washington Carter assigned his interest (now 1/2 and 1/4) to Benjamin Welch... ... On 15 Feb 1836 John Rawlings sold 1/4 part of the upper half to William Vaughan... ... William Vaughan brought action that resulted in the land being sold and he was paid $400 from the proceeds. Recorded 18 Oct 1846.
