Four tracts of land: Three lying on White Creek in said county all joining:100 acres lying on the road leading from Greenborough to Augusta; 200 acres joining James Carter; and 300 acres lying on said road; and 202 1/2 acres lying in the 6th district of Baldwin county. On friday the 29th of December at the house of Christian Duckworth will be sold all the personal property of Jeremiah Duckworth late of Warren county deceased. Consisting of Negroes, horses, cattle, sheep, hogs, goats, one wagon and geer, Household and kitchen furniture. Wheat, corn and fodder. The plantation with upwards of 100 acres of cleared land with a framed dwelling house and good kitchen and barn. 24 March 1883. The Semi Weekly Sumter Republican. Mrs Bethia Duckworth died at the residence of her son William Duckworth in Sumter county Tuesday night March 20th. She was born in North Carolina Jan 4th 1795. She was a consistent member of the United freewill Baptist church and a devoted Christian. |
