Frank Parker Hudson, Wilkes County, Georgia Tax Records, 1785-1805 Volume 1.

This table displays the District ID and Person Number as assigned by the author; the militia captain; and the total acres taxed totalled by each county.

Note: Elbert County has two early tax digests that are misdated and combined into one file. These are only available on microfilm at the Georgia Archives. One tax digest is ca 1799 and the other is ca 1819. As yet, I have not researched these for any members of the Clark Family.
