The Second Hall to Appear in the Area Was John Hall, Born ca 1760 to 1770. He Settled on Hanna's Cr. in the Portion of Current Day Madison County Lying Northeast of the North Broad R.. John Hall Lived Just Downstream from the above William Hall, but There Does Not Appear to Be Any Records Linking the Two of Them. This Area Was Right on the Franklin-wilkes Border Prior to 1790. Then it Was Right on the Franklin-elbert Border until 1819. The Area Was Then Added to Madison County (Which Had Been Created a Few Years Earlier) in 1819. |

A Third William Hall Appeared ca 1801. He Only Appears in Captain Blakwell’s District of an Undated Elbert County Tax Digest, Paying Tax on 50 Acres. There Is No Record of Any Deed to or from Him. However Robert Hall Owned 100 Acres Which He Sold in 1822. Robert Hall Only Paid Tax on 50 Acres as Well. My Guess Is That Robert Hall Owned the Land and Each Paid Tax on 50 Acres. |
