Note: Elizabeth Phillips, dau. of Levi Phillips, m. Adrian Williford 27 May 1847 Dooly Co. She d. before the 1850 Census was taken and he remarried shortly thereafter.

Note: William Phillips disappears from Washington Co right along the time Jane appear. Perhaps she is his widow.

Note: Back in the 1970s there were two theories about Chloe’s maiden name: Wheeler; and Tison/Tyson. In the intervening 50 year period neither has been proved and neither has been disproved.
